The Method

One method, four movements

Inductive study means going to the text first and letting it speak for itself. Magnify walks you through it in order — the same discipline taught by Robert Traina, Howard Hendricks, and Kay Arthur.

1 · Observation

Color-mark key words and themes, split clauses, name their relationships, raise questions — see what is actually on the page.

2 · Interpretation

Develop each question with cross-references and five-step word studies, weigh the possible readings, and settle each section's point.

I'm Steve Hall, pastor of a small church. For fifty years I've studied the Bible the way this app works — the inductive method I learned from Professor James Schuppe at Washington Bible College and from Dr. Howard Hendricks at Dallas Theological Seminary, the method behind every sermon I preach.
